The asteroid's English name is Juno, and anyone familiar with Greek mythology can probably guess what she governs from the name alone. That's right — marriage.
Juno is the Roman name for Hera, queen of the heavens and the consort of Zeus in Greek mythology.
Juno's glyph looks like a little flower, and in Greek mythology she is the guardian of marriage and family.
In astrology she is usually read as the asteroid connected to marriage, partnership and business partners. Through the sign Juno occupies, its house, and its aspects to other planets, an astrologer can explore a person's needs, motivations and patterns in marriage and relationships.
When a relationship matches the picture Juno paints, the person tends to feel more satisfied with that kind of interaction. If your Juno is in a fire sign, you tend to attract partners with the following qualities:
1. Passion: fire signs are passionate, so Juno in a fire sign brings initiative, drive, warmth and vitality into the partnership.
2. Independence: people with this placement care a great deal about independence and autonomy in a relationship. To some extent they're rather self-directed — even within a relationship they want to keep a certain degree of independence and freedom, and they long for a partner who understands and respects their personal space and autonomy.

Juno in Sagittarius
