This page explains how to delete data that Astrofish (艾爾莎觀星社) obtained about you through the official Meta (Threads, Instagram) APIs. No login is required.
1. Data we may keep
- Public Threads posts found through the official Meta API by our keyword search or mention search: the post text, post link, time and your public username.
- Records of our replies to your posts.
- Your comments on @astrofish38 and the Instagram direct messages you send to @astrofish38.
2. How to request deletion
- Email elsa@astrofish.tw with the subject “Data Deletion Request”, and include your Threads or Instagram username (for example @yourname).

3. What we do
- Within 30 days of receiving your request, we delete all data related to your username, including related content in our internal Telegram notifications.
- We add your username to our do-not-reply list, and when deletion is complete we confirm through the channel you used, with a confirmation number.
- If you ask us to, we also delete the replies we have already published to your posts.
4. Retention periods
- Comments and Instagram direct messages to @astrofish38: kept for at most 1 year.
- Candidate posts found by search: kept for at most 7 days.
- Our reply records: kept for 90 days.
5. Revoking access
In Threads or Instagram, go to Settings → Website permissions / Apps and websites and remove Astrofish. We will delete the access token and related data within 30 days.
